Sodalite Meaning + Properties

Sodalite is a rare mineral, identified for its stunning range of blue to blue-violet hues. It is a member of the feldspathoid mineral group.
Sodalite is one of the few rock-forming minerals that has chlorine as a primary constituent. It is confined to rocks that are undersaturated in silica and is most usually found in hydrothermally altered igneous rocks, but it has also been recorded as a main phase in alkali-layered intrusions in metamorphic rocks and in meteorites.

Sodalite brings an orderly and tranquil atmosphere to the mind, encouraging rational thinking, truth, objectivity and instinct. This stone promotes verbalization of emotions, helps one to attain emotional balance, soothes anxiety and fosters confidence in one's self-image, self-esteem and self-trust. I
