Metaphysical Uses

Selenite is most strongly linked to the third eye chakra and the crown chakra, which are both associated with higher levels of consciousness and wisdom. Selenite is often associated with purity and tranquility in both color theory and metaphysical beliefs due to its colorlessness and translucent beauty. Selenite is great to have on hand if you're trying to clear your head during meditation or contemplation because it's believed to force the person holding it to be truthful with themselves..

Note: All crystals contain energy that can be used to amplify your own intentions and manifestations through meditation and daily wear.

Geologic Setting

Gypsum is a common mineral widely distributed in sedimentary rocks, often as thick beds. It normally occurs interstratified with limestones and shales and is usually found as a layer underlying beds of rocksalt, having been deposited as one of the first minerals to crystalize on the evaporation of saltwaters.
