In this blog, I'd like to share the science behind the elements used for my I am Life design and the spiritual reasons that I created this design.
With the I Am Life design, my goal is to help people remember that their life is valuable no matter what is happening around them. I created this design in lockdown in response to the social and political chaos that was happening on our planet. Lockdowns caused many people to spiral into depression and anxiety due to the isolation. It heart my spirit to see this; so I created this design to remind humanity that we are gods, we are life, and there is power in each of us. Just remember that the next time you feel down, you are life, and life doesn't quit; life is beautiful.
The elements used are:
The letter I stands for iodine. This is an element that occurs naturally in saltwater. This element is required for the proper functioning of our thyroid hormones, which regulate our metabolism. Thyroid hormones are also required by the body for healthy bone and brain development throughout pregnancy and infancy.
Americium is represented by the letter Am. It is a silvery-white synthetic element produced by nuclear processes. The element is utilized in smoke detectors to keep us safe from fires. It is also being investigated as the element for "space batteries" to aid in exploring the cosmos.
Li stands for lithium, which is commercially utilized to produce batteries and power our life. However, it is also effective as a treatment for mania and mood swings, including manic depressive illnesses. Petalite (LiAl(Si2O5)2, lepidolite K(Li, Al)3(Al, Si, Rb)4O10(F, OH)2, and spodumene LiAl(SiO3)2 are the minerals that produce it.
Iron is represented by the letter Fe. This is a necessary component of blood formation. About 70% of your body's iron is found in hemoglobin, which is found in red blood cells, and myoglobin, in muscle cells. Hemoglobin is required for the delivery of oxygen from the lungs to the tissues in your blood. The minerals hematite (Fe2O3) and magnetite are found in some iron ores (Fe3O4).
The Moon, Earth and Jupiter represent the elections of lithium.
